Using EagleCAD I have made a power circuit using a linear regulator and made little planes as recommended in the data sheet, however, when I route the board the software puts traces through these planes. I tried to use keepout but that didn't work and so then I went for restrict, which did keep the traces out but didn't make the copper pour! Does anyone know how I should fix this? Below is an example of what happens. You can clearly see the planes outlined with the dashed marks and the hatching is the restrict - ratnest did not make the copper pour but the traces did stay out
