Error installing EAGLE Freemium license

I downloaded the software and entered the emailed EAGLE Freemium code.

When I click OK to install EAGLE I get the following error:

 

"Error-1 while installing the EAGLE Freemium license.  Please contact CadSoft!"

 

I attempted to contact CadSoft for help, but still have no reply after several days.  I attempted to reinstall, but same error appears.

 

What should I try next?

    More information on error.  After the above message, another window opens that says;

     

    Can't open '/Applications/EAGLE-7-2.2.0/bin/EAGLE.key'

    Permission denied

    How you get your Free Trial?

    1. Download the latest EAGLE version here
    2. Register here to get a license code for the Free Trial activation
    3. Note that the Free Trial edition may only be installed on one PC per activation code. On each occasion on which you launch the Free Trial edition, your PC must be connected to the Internet and have the same network settings which applied when you first activated the Free Trial edition in order for the Free Trial edition to operate.

     

    See #3 above and make sure same PC and connected to internet with same network settings.

    Check you rights of the folder.

    "Permission denied" == you (eagle) have no rights to write

    in this folder.
