bottom smd pads

Former Member
Former Member over 10 years ago

Hallo,

I try to create a SMD package by a script. It is a edge mounted connector, so it has SMD pads both on top and bottom.

SMD '1' 2 0.5 R90 (-3 -1); works perfect,

but

SMD '2' 2 0.5 MR90 (-3 -1); works not - the mirrow flag will not work in the SMD command, as described in HELP. But when i use INFO, I can set the mirrow flag.

Pressing the middle mouse button change the layer, but do not set the mirrow flag. What must I do to change the layer in a script?

I'm using eagle 6.5 - but @7.2 it is the same.

best regards

Marc

    grid mm;

    smd

    layer 16

    smd 1 0.5 R90 '1'(0 0)

    layer 1

    smd 2 0.5 R90 '2'(0 0)

    ...

    I tried this, too. But for testing by copying in the command line:

    layer 16; smd 1 0.5 R90 '1' (0 0); layer 1; smd 2 0.5 R90 '2' (0 0);

    ... but it's not working image

    You would be forgiven for thinking that scripts are simply a file

    version of what you would otherwise type at the control line. There are

    many subtitle differences with scripts. They will do what you can type

    at the control line but there is additional functionality and behaviour

    that a script affords when running. It is needed and a number of the

    ULPs depend these differences to function.
