bottom smd pads

Question

Hallo,

I try to create a SMD package by a script. It is a edge mounted connector, so it has SMD pads both on top and bottom.

SMD '1' 2 0.5 R90 (-3 -1); works perfect,

but

SMD '2' 2 0.5 MR90 (-3 -1); works not - the mirrow flag will not work in the SMD command, as described in HELP. But when i use INFO, I can set the mirrow flag.

Pressing the middle mouse button change the layer, but do not set the mirrow flag. What must I do to change the layer in a script?

I'm using eagle 6.5 - but @7.2 it is the same.

Indeed. However, there is another way:

SMD '2' 2 0.5 R90 (-3 -1);

MIRROR (-3 -1);

SMD '1' 2 0.5 R90 (-3 -1);

If you have the pads at the same coordinates on both sides then you will

need to place the bottom side pads first, mirror them, then place the

top side.
