I am completely new to PCB design. So I have a question that may sound stupid please forgive my ignorance. I am using a library for an Arduino DUE shield. I have the schematic complete but I want to add vias to the PCB layout to solder wires directly to the board. I have created the vias and added them to their own net but the route tool will not allow me to connect the via I made to the library via. I don't know if that region from the library is locked from doing such edits or what. If anyone can point me in the right direction on connecting these vias I would appreciate it.
