Hi. Can someone please help. Why are the texts on any physical layer always scaled up when i output them in the cam processor? And what can i do to avoid this again? Thanking you in advance. Regards Bruce.

Oh this has too many answers, but it depends on doing a SMASH to allow adjusting text. A good how to is http://makezine.com/projects/make-36-boards/make-your-own-dmn-board-part-3-silkscreen-and-gerbers/

    Take a deep breath,

maybe a problem with proportional fonts in the layout vs. vector font

    in the geber output?

    Hi

Your problem is likely caused because you have not used vector fonts and

used the better looking proportional fonts. You need to use vector fonts on

the board. This often comes up in the forum and is documented in the

    manual.

    Quoting the manual

The option Always vector font shows and prints texts with the builtin

    vector

font, independently from the originally used font. Using the Vector font

guarantees that the output with a printer or the CAM Processor is exactly

    the

same as shown in the editor window. Fonts other than vector font depend on

the systems' settings and cannot be controlled by EAGLE. The output of

    nonvector

fonts may differ from the editor's view.

    ENd quote

You can also use proportional in the schematic and vector for the board
