Microchip Library Import

Question

Bear with me I am new to Eagle.

I am trying to import a library script, (A microchip PIC with the script from the Farnell site) but it gets as far as drawing the package then errors out:

'Can't place SMD 81 on pad 1' and continues to sy the same for all the pads.

Havre I made a rookie error?

Scrap that, I've found the device in LBR form rather than script, works well. I can oinly assume an incompatability of the script and my (new) version of Eagle
