LT1769 Lead acid battery charger

Hi everyone

 

I need for my job a lead acid battery charger, and someone recomand me this LT1769 (http://www.linear.com/product/LT1769)

I have to buy the other component as well, but i need the circuit for a Lead Acid charger, not the Li-Ion that is on the datasheet.

 

Do you have any idea were i could find this schematic ?

    If you have not found it using google then it possibly doesn't exist for this IC, and you would have to create it based off the data sheet. Did the person who recommended it use it for a lead acid charger in order to provide the recommendation? If so, can they not share their circuit?

     

    You could examine the LT1769 data sheet, and lead acid battery charging information, and then with the specifications of your battery and design your own schematic based off the example schematics in the LT1769 data sheet.

     

    Or you could look for a lead acid charging circuit based off a different device. LT seem to have plenty of hits on google for lead acid battery chargers using their other ICs. For sealed lead acid, the techniques are described here, for you to implement.
