Copy between schematic sheets

Is it possible to copy and paste existing schematic sections between sheets

or separate design files altogether?

For example if I want to create a new sheet #2 and duplicate something from

sheet 1, I can't seem to do it.  Same with opening up an older schematic.

I'd much rather copy and paste a schematic block into the new design than

have to manually add and wire up everything from scratch.  There has to be a

way.

    I figured it out.

I was getting thrown off by the fact that when I'd start a group copy, the

items would stick to the cursor showing it's being copied but then when I'd

switch to another schematic sheet the items would vanish so I thought the

    process was terminated.

I just tried the following in ver. 5.6.0 and it worked:

    1) Group - select the parts you want to copy.

    2) Cut - click on a reference point that will be used for paste.

    3) Click on the sheet you want to paste to. Or right click and create a

new sheet. (Use the "Sheets" toolbar.)

    4) Paste - click where you want to place the parts.

When going from project to project, you must open the new schematic sheet

in the same Eagle editor. So...

    1) Group

    2) Cut

    3) File | Open - schematic to paste to.

    4) Paste

    Hope it works for you.
