Hope someone can help
This may be a real silly question but I cant seem to find the answer.
when dealing with say a ground plane you use ratsnest to calculate the
plane but how do I undo the calculation so I can see all tracks without
the plane.

ripup command at the edge of the polygon ( i assume you used polygons
rather than eagle power "planes")

RIPUP @; in the command line for all polygons in the layout.
If you prefer RATSNEST not to calculate polygons, you can deactivate
"Ratsnest processes polygons" in Options/Set/Misc or type
SET POLY ON | OFF in the command line.

Or...you can go to the layers selection and just turn off the layer w/
the ground plane.
