You can choose any place to install eagle, even over the existing
program. I would NOT want eagle to install a new version over my
existing one for a few reasons. The update may fail and spoil the
existing one or there is a new bug in it and there is hopefully a back
up. With a compare tool I can check easy for new libraries, ulps etc.
which is not possible if the update is just dumped over the existing one.
