Text etc on pCB too large ..SMD

I have laid out a tight PCB mainly using surface mount devices.

With everything showing, the text is garbled as the text strings overlay

each other etc.

 

Is there a way to simply reduce the text size, even move some of it.

 

I tried just showing certain layers on their own.

Then attempted to to select all (group) and then try change size.

I could do a group selection, to get started.

  • type HELP SMASH to see how to seperate the names from the parts. there

    is also a ULP that will smash all. once the names are seperated, you can

    hide the other layers, group them, and use the CHANGE commands to resize

    them.

     

    make sure you use vector fonts on a board if you send it to a board

    house otherwise you will have a big mess.
