change key binding for "alternate grid" ?

autodeskguest

Hi,

I'm using eagle 5.6.0 light under linux and I would like to change the key

binding for "alternate grid".

At the moment one can use the "ALT" key to temporarily switch to alternate

grid size.

However, unfortunately under linux this key is bound to the window

manager.

For this reason I would like to change the key to something else.

Is this possible ?

I guess I can do something like this in Options->Assign ?

cheers,

stefan

You can't change the ALT key within EAGLE.

You could assign a key for switching to the alternative grid:

assing C+G  'grid alt inch 0.01'

But in this case, you have to assign a second key to come back

to the grid used before. For example:

    assign C+L 'grid last'

    HTH

BTW: Couldn't you change the key assignment of your window manager?

    Which one do you use?
