Does anyone know a good Gerber to DXF converter? Better if it works directly
with EAGLE brd file.

Theres a ULP which will make a dxf directly from the brd. Just click
the ULP tool button and browse for a file name w/ dxf in it.

Also the Eagle Power Tools package claims to have this
capability....don't know if its output is better/different from the
dxf.ulp that comes w/ Eagle.
