Hi,

How do you create a symbol that does not have a package? I need

symbols that do not use packages for block diagrams.

Draw a symbol & add it to a device with the same name

Hi Gary,

In EAGLE, you add devices to a schematic. A device is a symbol plus a
package (footprint) plus the connections between them. If the symbol has
no pins then it doesn't need a package. So just create a symbol, add it to
a device and you're done.
