download page needs OS X 10.4 warning

I had Eagle 5.6.0 running under Mac OS X 10.3.9.

Downloaded 5.7.0, installed it, and couldn't run Eagle anymore.

Console error message:

 

Link (dyld) error:

dyld: /Volumes/Apps/myApplications/EAGLE PCB

LAYOUT/EAGLE.app/Contents/MacOS/EAGLE Undefined symbols:

/Volumes/Apps/myApplications/EAGLE PCB

LAYOUT/EAGLE.app/Contents/MacOS/EAGLE undefined reference to

__HIViewScrollRectWithOptions expected to be defined in Carbon

 

So had to go back and reinstall 5.6.0.

 

Would be helpful if either

a) the download page mentioned that Mac OX X 10.4... required, or

b) Installer checked current OS and refused to install if < 10.4

    This is mentioned on

    http://www.cadsoft.de/info.htm under "System Requirements" and also in the

    README file that comes with EAGLE. Unfortunately it was forgotton mention

    it in the UPDATE file.

     

    b) Installer checked current OS and refused to install if < 10.4

     

    We'll see what we can do here.
