You click File, then Open, then brd..., then you browse for your file.
When you are finished, you click on the board windo, search for View
menu (it's on top of the window usually), then locate "Display/Hide layers",
click on it.
A small window with various colored boxes will appear. In that window,
uncheck everything. Then check Bottom, Pads, and Vias.
You must click on the number in front of colored box, for example; you click
on the number 17 to display (or hide) layer Vias.
Then you must click Apply, then Ok.
Next thing that you must do is to locate on top left of the window, a
small icon, that look like a printer. Click on it, and then .. depend on the
printer you are using
Now really, do you think this is a question to be addresed to the "support"
forum?!!
There are tons of small tutorials on the internet, that will show you almost
all things that you need to know.
There is even a small tutorial from Cadsoft.... on the download page.
Just to emphasise, it's always a good idea to clear ALL the layers, then select the ones you want. If you don't you will always end up with some part name or screenprint layer you hadn't noticed on the print.
If this is something you do on a regular basis, you might want to create an
alias for the view you want. See this link
http://www.cadsoftusa.com/blog/eagle-highlights-aliases/ which also
includes a link to a short video. I had not heard of it until I saw that
little clip. Makes it handy.
