ERC schematic warnings that I am not sure about

Hi,

 

I get a lot of the below warnings, and I verified my schematic that

things are connected properly.  Why do I get these warnings?  There is

nothing else that I can fix.

 

1. Close but unconnected wires in nets N$10 and VCC

2. Missing junction in net GND

3. Net N$1 overlaps pin

4. Only one pin on net N$1

 

 

For item 2), there is NO junction intended there, but I get a warning.

For item 4), I verified that the pin of the IC is corrected connected to

the resistor.

 

Should ignore these warnings?

    You may have inadvertently turned off or changed your grid settings or

    have a library part that is not 0.1 inch grid. The only way to verify

    that things are connected properly is the 2 methods Morten mentioned:

    move the part and see if the nets all move with it or use show to

    highlight nets.

     

    It's easy to get errors like this even if the grid is correct, that's

    why we have ERC. Mostly, they arise from editting connections, it's

    often better to delete and redraw nets rather than move them.

    You schematic has two wires that may appear to be connected but they are

    not. try the command "show N$10" or "show VCC" to identify the issue. (I

    assume you know that you can click the warning to get the problem area in

    focus)

    Maybe two GND wires are crossing, and there is no junction? This is just a

    warning to make sure you know what you are doing. Either remove the crossing

    or add a junction. Maybe one of the nets crossing have wrong name?

     

    3. Net N$1 overlaps pin

     

    The net ends at a pin but is not connected. To fix this, move the device

    away a bit and then back again.

     

    4. Only one pin on net N$1

     

    The net does not have a source and destination. The error is probably

    related to the previous issue and will go away when you get connection.

    Not until you are sure they are ok. You are better off removing their cause.
