working.
And it also seems that somehow E14 "lost" a bunch of my replies to various
threads over there at roughly the same time..... What a fantastically
reliable forum system they have.....

I see the link was back and working very briefly yesterday evening but it
seems broken again now. Also none of the discussions that occurred in the
interim period in the different forums synced across. Are Element 14 still
looking at this? It's now been broken for two weeks....

Hi Rachael,
I have informed the appropriate persons of the issue, let's see what
happens now. Hopefully, it won't take to long.

EAGLE Central forums are still working ...
Yes these forums are working as are the E14 forums but the link between
them is broken!
It does make it peaceful here without the constant "I can find part xyx
in the libraries" posts though....
Actually, to be correct EAGLE Central is still in sync with the official
NNTP support forums. Anything between those two is still working fine.
E14's link to the official support forums is broken and if nothing makes it
to the NNTP forums then it can't make it to EAGLE Central.
The NNTP forums are the official channel. The web interfaces provide
convenient access to them for those who aren't familiar with NNTP.
James.

There have been posts in the Element14 forums, but they have not been
cross-posted to the newsgroup. I suspect the bridge is broken.

You are right. Dead silence. Funny?

Can't
Oh how I wish there was an edit previous post option.... Unless it's
there
and I am being blind?
Take it with a smile. We know what you mean
Odd... I read it as "can't". I didn't pick up on the typo until I read
her followup.

That spoilt it. Finally there was a break from the stupid questions that

Now, now, look at this way, how will those new users benefit from your
vast EAGLE experience if their questions never reach you?
Even if some of the questions are "Where can I find XYZ part?", there's
always something interesting.
Thank you everyone for letting me know you are still here.

Nothing against questions about eagle, but imho most of the questions
have nothing do do with eagle. It is most frustrating to read something
like "look at my attachment" and there is nothing to see. Correct me if
I'm wrong but I think element14 is trying about 4 years to get their
attachments through to the NNTP

Hi Jorge,
Is the newsgroup information still present on the Cadsoft site ?
I can't find it !

Hi Chuck,
This is true, but few new users are even aware that NNTP exists, let
alone what is or how it works.
That's why a working web mirror is so important. We have eaglecentral.ca
but we can't advertise it much because it's direct competition to element14.
So the most neutral thing to do is to make sure they are all working.

Jorge Garcia
