I'm designing a schematic for a debug board for a Z80 computer that I'm building from component parts. The board will let me single-step through a Z80 instruction cycle, and display the contents of the address and data busses via 24 LEDs. The LEDs are attached to a 24-pin header, which I'll connect to the computer prototype with jumpers.
My issue is that each LED assembly has 2 resistors and a transistor along with it. There are 24 of these assemblies, and I'm having trouble fitting them all on my schematic: I'm using an 11" x 17" frame, but it's still not big enough. In printed schematics that I've seen, they usually just show one LED assembly connected to one pin header, then note that this is duplicated 24 times. Is there any way to do this in Eagle? Or is there another solution, other than just duplicating each LED assembly 24 times?
I tried to attach my schematic, but it said the content type wasn't allowed.
Thanks,
David
