get device database

Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to export a csv or other text file type describing which symbol and package are used by devices.

Best regards,

Grégory

    Hi Grégory,

    Do you mean from within a library? You can do this with a ULP. I've just quickly knocked up the following which does a very basic CSV showing the device name, and all the symbols and package within each device in the loaded library. You can probably adapt this to list all the devices in a board or schematic if you like.

    #usage "en: Create basic CSV of library contents\n"

               "Creates a CSV file in the directory specified below"

    output("/tmp/ulp_output.csv") { // CSV output

        if (library) {

            library(L) {

                L.devicesets(DS) {

                    DS.devices(D) {

                        printf("%s",DS.name);

                        D.gates(G){

                            printf(",%s", G.symbol.name);

                        }

                        printf(",%s\n", D.package.name);

                    }

                }

            }

        }

        exit(0);

    }

    Best Regards,

    Rachael
