Routing Variants?

Auto:  The router chooses a preferred direction that is considered to

        be useful

How many layers do you route?

Do you have set the "auto grid" option?

Are there preferred directions set or is it also "auto"?

Is the TopRouter variant active?

All these is taken into consideration.

Hello Martin,

The number of routing variants is dependent on the effort level set when

you click on the autorouter dialog and the first dialog pops up. If

Effort is set to high, then you'll get somewhere in the neighborhood of

22 variants (sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the design). If

Effort is set to low, then you'll usually get 3 or 4 variants.
