This is my first Eagle board, and it's been going really well, but there is one issue i can't figure out. It seems that a second layer of tStop is being added to some of my devices when i run the DRC on my board. Here was my process for isolating this issue:
0. run DRC and got Stop Mask Error on Layer 29 (tStop)
1. toggle all layers off except Layer 29 (tStop) -->found the mounting pad for pin 1 had a second tStop layer that partially covered the pad (see image below)
2. moved the component to determine if pad was part of component package --> pad did not move with component (see image below)
3. re-ran autoroute to determine if it was placing pad --> pad did not move back to component (same as last image)
4. re-ran DRC to determine if it was placing pad --> got stop mask error ad pad moved back (image below)
I imagine this error is not a problem for fab because double masking doesn't really mean anything, but would like to get rid of any false errors since they make it harder to tell if any real issues are going on.
