Hi All,
I've issued the following command:
SET Option.AutoLoadMatchingDrawingFile 1
So that when I load a new design in either the schematic or board the
corresponding drawing is automatically loaded without the additional prompt
to ask if that's what I want to do.
If I have two designs, say TestDesign1 and TestDesign2 I can do
edit TestDesign1
edit TestDesign2
edit TestDesign1
etc....
and it will repeatedly switch between the two designs without issue.
Now, if I have say made changes to TestDesign1 which I have not saved and
decide I actually want to scrap, I would expect to be able to issue:
edit TestDesign1
Then after clearing the "do you want to save changes" dialog by saying "no",
it should then go ahead as before and reload both the schematic and board.
However, it does not. When the design name is the currently loaded design,
the corresponding drawing is not loaded and then it whinges about the two
being inconsistent.
Now, the procedures described above are NOT my actual use case so I am not
after alternative to what I stated above to make that work but it's the easiest way
of describing what the issue is with the Option.AutoLoadMatchingDrawingFile
setting.
Basically I want it to load the corresponding design even if it thinks it's
the same design so doesn't need to.
Many thanks,
Rachael
