The reason for this request: For sanity, I am adding schematic text with
power budget on all my power rails (they are many). For now, column
alignment needs to be done with fixed spacinf font and ascii art. Since
I can't see the result until I click apply, this makes it a hassle.
To solve this, it would be nice if one of these wishes came through:
-Support basic html in text like some other objects does, at least on
schematic. This is probably the best and easiest solution to the
problem, as I could use tables. I wouldn't mind if only "info" and/or
"guide" and other documentation layers allowed html, using defined color
as default. If this is a problem, maybe a color neutral "html" layer
could be introduced in schematic?
-Support escaped tabs with automatic tab adjustment based on widest column.
-When doing text in fixed spacing font, it would be nice if
the edit/properties box also showed the text with same fixed spacing
font. The edit window could contain the font selection and maybe the
alignment box too, like the properties window has. Maybe they can share
GUI bits somehow.
