Autodesk License

Jorge,

Can you give me a summary of the Autodesk license in terms that doesn't

require an attorney to understand?

Are there any changes in the licensing agreement from what I had in 7.6?

At least the FTP site doesn't collect an email address and require

agreement to yet another license agreement.

The download page is asking for my email address and pre-fills it with

"name@website.com".  I guess it's just another script kiddie that

doesn't know the difference between a domain name and a web site.

Probably someone that's been using a web portal to access their email

for so long that the two have become synonymous.

Thanks,

    - Chuck

    Hi Chuck,

Nothing has changed, it's just a different set of lawyers saying the

    same thing in different words.

You know, I've always thought that in the beginning at some fundamental

level things were simple. Then somebody found a loophole and that had to

be closed. Then someone else found a loophole around that, and so on and

so forth until legal documents became so dense and unreadable as to be

    iron-clad.

Something to chew on I guess.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia
