Make EAGLE to remember the width of the left area in the Control Panel

It would be nice if the EAGLE would remember to the left area in the Control Panel, because I need to resize it every time when I am opening it, and this is annoying. See the image below:

I have tried it only on Linux, but I think it affects all versions.

I think this feature would not require a lot of development, but would make the software more user friendly.
