Please implement ODB++ ex port

Dear Cadsoft team,

 

Do you have plans to support ODB++ export for Eagle?

 

If so, when will it arrive?

 

It's getting more and more difficult to defend our decision to continu

using Eagle.

We need ODB++ export in order to make use of flying probe tester during the

production of our boards.

Also, we need ODB++ export for signal integrity analysis software.

    Just some comments to this ODB++ request.

    I know the pcb manufacturers ask for this format, but I am not convinced

    it is does much good for the Eagle user. The manufacturer may think he

    is getting more manufacturing details than Eagle can supply, and the

    Eagle user may think he is safe. ODB++ may carry a lot of data that is

    not even specified in the Eagle format, such as layer material and track

    impedances. Also, the manufacturer may get disappointed if the data is

    not complete.
