signal line connected to a ground

Hi Oppie,

I'm sorry to hear that. The first thing that comes to my mind is that

you may have hidden airwires.

You can check by clicking RATSNEST and then looking at the bottom left

of your screen. If you see the word "hidden" anywhere there, than that

would explain the unrouted airwires. Type RATSNEST * followed by the

enter key to reveal all of the airwires.

The other possibility is that the airwire was not properly defined in

the first place. In your schematic use the show command and click on the

nets that never routed both pins and the net wire itself should

highlight. You can also try moving the part, if the nets follow then it

is properly connected otherwise that's your issue.

Hi Oppie,

In addition to checking what Jorge has suggested I wonder if you connected

the module up to ground symbols, initially correctly connecting to the

globally named ground net, and then you renamed the nets from that to the

module name and therefore disconnected them from ground.

For global nets like power and ground I would either add separate text to

annotate the connections at the connector or just accept that the names

match the global nets on the board rather than trying to make them conform

to the modules pin names.

I didn't want to take the global name because it was important to me to

recognize this pin as an I/O that was grounded as opposed to ground.

Probably the most straightforward way then is to use a zero ohm resistor

or a solder jumper.

Was juggling a large number of signals and missed fixing that along with

another engineer that helped with the review... Oh, well, boo boo

happens. Probably needed to re-spin the board before the production

release anyway. Sadly, I am getting very good at putting jumpers on

0.5mm pitch devices.
