changing fonts

matelot

reading through past topics I have found quite a few with reference to

fonts and vector fonts.

I can not find anywhere to control these.

I am aware Eagle uses a limited number of fonts but hope I can find one

that supplies things like numbers in circles?

Would someone mind running me through being able to change the font I can

use when entering text (if this is possible) and hopefully help me go to

one that gives me numbers in circles?

    Hi Mat,

     

    EAGLE currently comes with 3 fonts proportional, vector, and fixed. They

    basically use the ASCII character set that doesn't include too many

    fancy characters. If you need numbers with circles in them the easiest

    way to do this is to draw it in manually.

     

    Using the text command enter a number, make sure to center justify the

    text. Then using the circle command draw the circle with it center on

    the center of the text. That's going to be the best way to do it for now.

  • Thank you Jorge. I suppose the only thing I would like now is one of the

    fonts that includes numbers with circles around them adding to the

    available fonts. hopefully replacing the numbers one for one. :?
