Hi Silvio,
please refer to the drawings in the datasheet, also the drawings in the additional information.
There will be described how you can draw your footprint.
Here in this drawing the pad has a template at the inner side a round shape and at the outside a rectangle.
So you easy draw this - a SMD round pin and a polygon connected on this round pin (this polygon gets the same pin name, number).
Please read also the Eagle manual - "how to create complex SMD pins"...
After that - make 5 copies at X-angle from left to right (from east to west, then 5 copies Y-angle from bottom to top (from south to north),
then 5 copies on north from west to east, and last 5 copies from north to south on the east side.
In the middle then you create the exposed pad.
All of them the pins are around the middle center point.
The center point - 0,0 margin, is also the point for pick up the device with the assembling machines!!!
After that you can draw the cream layer template.
Be careful with the grids. - If the datasheet shows you in mm then you set a fine grid in mm
(eg. the pin grid is 0.5mm - then make the dimension grid so fine that you can divide into this grid without rest. ->> n / 2 = xxx.xxxxx)
For me i calculate to fine grid 5 numbers after comma. This allows you to multiply back to the top number at any time.
->>> see also inch / mm.
->>> see also top or bottom, right or mirrored
Eagle looks every time from top to bottom.
You know about Mr. Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen?
That is what you need in your eyes.
Do you know the mirrored focussing? Well it's a very fine feeling.
I wish you all the best.
After that we can talk once more.
Best Regards
Gerald
