    Richard,

How can I find the paths to the libraries that show up in the info dialog box? I need to modify a package per my manufaturer's request. But, I have from many different upgrades over the years librairies from different versions. My info box shows rcl-2 but there are four of them on my drive.

    thanks in advance

    steve

    Hi Steve,

In the future it would be best to leave EAGLE's default libraries alone, and simply copy what you need from them into your own personal libraries. The path your looking for is unobtainable from the info dialog. Once a part is brought into an EAGLE design it becomes fully independent from the library that created it, so that path is not available.

I would recommend simply grabbing one of the rcl-2 libraries, the most recent preferably, and simply modify it to suit manufacturer specs. Then rename the library to distinguish from the others and use that library.

    hth,

    Jorge

    Jorge,

Thanks, I was trying to keep all of the attributes assigned to the resistors

intact.. it turns out the replace command works fine.

    Cheers
