How do I mark dimension for my PCB?

EAGLE has a layer 47, Measures, I know that I should draw line to mark dimension.

but , is there a nice tool to do this?

for example, first mouse left click, got a start point with arrow, and move mouse to end point  click mouse left button agian, complete this draw.

and this dimension as a object, we can edit its coordinate of two point and its length...

just a advice, because I draw this very very ugly...image

EAGLE doesn't support measurement functions, as you already know. But you could take a lool at www.cadsoft.de/download.htm. Look into the ULP directory and search for adimv*.ulp. A EAGLE user contributed some ULPs that can draw a dimensioning for a board.

    Best regards,

    Richard Hammerl

You can use Eagle's 'wire' tool to draw lines on any layer - they don't have to be actual tracks or wires.

Once you draw the line you can use the 'info' tool to fine tune the co-ordinates and length of the lines.

Use the GRID tool to set the size of grid you need, start and end points will snap to the gird, and whether you want to see all measurments in mm, inch or mil.

When drawing a line (or rectangle) hold down the ALT key to use the alternative grid settings.

You can also use the MARK tool to place a mark anywhere on the grid, and as you move the mouse about the status line will show you the x and y offset from the mark. use "MARK ;" to switch the mark off again. You can only have one mark at a time.

    I hope this helps.
