There are several types of PC board mount relay sockets with a footprint larger than the body of the relay. It'd be useful to have those in a library for ease of placing relays close together.
Fortunately the project I'm working on uses the 5 blade connector automotive relays and the sockets I'll be using (DURAKOOL - DZ85AB-5-PCBDZ85AB-5-PCB) are no larger than the body of the relays, thus I can pack them together so close they're nearly touching. Would be a PITA to do the placement (and require a larger board) if these sockets were larger.
