cutting MRF317 contour

Hi,

i would like to make a package library for RF transistor (MRF317) with a cutting contour to pcb directly

like in photo. My effort was made by puting circles together for the part contour.

Please show me another way to do it.

  • Hi,

     

    you can also use the WIRE command for drawing such a cutout.

    It is possible to make a straight wire to an arc. Use MOVE + Ctrl and click onto the wire. Move the mouse and you will see what happens. It is of course also possible to use coordinates with radius or curve to draw this.

    You have to type in the coordinates and radius/curve values in the command line. Please see HELP WIRE for details about drawing arcs.

    Such a command could look like this (here I use the curve parameter between the strt/end points):

     

    grid mm 1;

    set wire_bend 2;

    wire (0 0) +200 (31 0) +150 (31 22) +200 (0 23) +150 (0 0);
