OrCAD sch to Eagle software

I am Shrinivas, I am a PCB designer, currently working an old pcb design software.

Kindly reply me for the bellow question.

1. Can i import a OrCAD schematics directly to the EAGLE software?

2. Can i import OrCAD .net (netlist) and .cmp (Component file) to the EAGLE

software.

Because i have lot of designes in OrCAD, I don't want to enter the schematic again

in the EAGLE, So kindly tell me the procedure to import the design from OrCAD to

EAGLE.

If this possible then i want to switch over to the EAGLE software so the i can update

myself to the EAGLE software.

Hi,

is it possible to export data in ACCEL-ASCII format from OrCAD? If yes, EAGLE 6.4 could import this as a schematic (File/Import menu). There are also some tools that might help in the www.cadsoft.de download area. Please look into the User Language folder. There is for example

importbom_and_netlist.zip

These are a couple of scripts I wrote to facilitate the importing of Orcad schematics into the layout editor. ImportNetlist.ulp imports a PADS2K netlist. ImportBOM (the most useful of both) imports a regular Orcad BOM file and lets you select the package for each group of items. The scripts are not well commented, maybe soon I"ll work on that.

Hi,

there is a brd_to_dsn_v6.ulp ULP in the CadSoft Download, User Language Program area. This converts a board into DSN format. Do you realy want to convert a schematic into DSN format?
