Hi all,
I need to design a custom footprint which has an unusual shape, I have tried to piece squares and circular pads together to achieve this but I get mixed results. Also when I do this and then adjust settings like clearance, this is uneven due to the use of different shapes. See the image below which shows the footprint which consists of 1 square pad and circular around the square pad is less than the circular pad.
So what I would like to do is create a similar shaped pad with 2 holes as above, but using a single shape. Is this possible with something like the polygon tool? Any advice would be appreciated?
