Disconect between Schem and PCB

I have been working on a PCB for several days, there are a lot of connections and I have been ripping and rerouting a lot. I save the project often to preserve what I have done so far. Yesterday I worked on the PCB for about 4 hours, saving as I when along, at the end of the day when I closed the PCB screen, I saw with horror a yellow waning sign at top of the schematics telling me that there are no longer connected. I don't know what I did, but I suspect that when ripping one of the traces I pressed the delete key and did not pay attention to the message telling me that I will lose the connection to the schematic.

Is there any way to save what I have done?

    Hi Daniel,

     

    If the yellow bar came in the schematics after you closed the PCB you are fine as this is normal. It's as a warning to you not to make changes to the schematic while the PCB is closed or vice versa. If however you are seeing this in both the schematic and PCB when they are BOTH loaded then you have an inconsistency between the two which you will need to resolve. In this case run the ERC to find out where the errors are.
