Layer 15 (Route 15) used but not enabled

Question

Hi there.

I have Eagle 7.7.0 and have 8 sheets in my schematic. I have the maker license and have no layer 15 available (only 1 & 16). Is there a way for me to identify what I have on layer 15 so I can somehow remove this and if required create this on layer 1 or 16?

I don't know of a way to do it from within the Eagle program, but you can open the '.brd' file in a text editor. The file is very much like an HTML file. Search for: layer="15" to find any entries on that layer and edit them onto a visible layer. Then save the file and reopen it in Eagle and take care of the problem from there.

Not the cleanest way, but it should work.
