I'm a total newbie to Eagle, however I've been an on-and-off user of Orcad back to
the mid 1980s...  So in addition to a learning curve I've got an unlearning curve...
Anyway, I've run into a few questions....
1 - I have a 5-button mouse... how do I program one of the extras as a "Start a
net" button?
2 - My first project is a replacement for an RV battery connect / disconnect panel.
It has a 12-pin single sided PCB edge connector on 0.156 spacing (the same
spacing as the classic 4.5x6 inch Vector 3662 / 3682 double sided 22/44 pin
prototyping boards).
Does anybody have a library with a PCB edge connector with 0.156 spacing?
Even if it's not exactly what I need it would be a starting point for my first custom part.
3 - My first attempt at this board (with a placeholder connector) has the traces placed
way too close to the component leads (please see the attached cropped image) for
comfort, especially for soldering a prototype board, especially one without a solder
mask.  Where is the trace clearance parameter located?  I need to increase it.
4 - I can foresee that I will want to do a single sided board, even if it requires a jumper
or two. Where do I set the side / layer count?
5 - Is there a way to import my custom Orcad library?
6 - How do I add to the Description of a library part?  For example, I need a DPDT
center-off momentary rocker switch.  I went through a huge number of switches in
the library looking for a center off DPDT.  I'd like to be able to add notations as I peruse
a library....  The numerous instances of "Toggle Switch" could become "Toggle
Switch SPDT", "Toggle Switch DPDT", etc.
I am sure that there will be more questions in the future, but answers to these will take
care of my immediate needs.
Thanks in advance
Mike Morris
