Eagle 9.1.0 Crashes almost everytime I use a file selection window, how to fix?

robws@quayconsulting.net

I have recently started using Eagle to do actual designs and almost every time I need to use the file selector (EG to save a file under a new name, select a cam file to process, etc) I get part way through the process of selecting the file/directory and it crashes.

Any Ideas how to fix??  It makes it really hard to use.

Note actual file I/O such as ctrl-s to do a save works completely flawlessly.

Running version 9.1.0

    Hi Robert,

I hope you're doing well. That's really unusual.

The first thing I would like to recommend is to update to V9.1.3 and see if the problem continues. If it does, please zip up the crash dumps (relatively new feature) and send them to jorge.garcia@autodesk.com. You will find the crash dumps in the following location:

    Windows: $HOME\AppData\Roaming\Eagle\crash-dumps\X.Y.Z

    MacOS: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Eagle/crash-dumps/X.Y.Z

    Linux: ~/.local/share/Eagle/crash-dumps/X.Y.Z

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia
