Importing Altium or Protel .pcb files???

Hi,

 

I am interested in trying Eagle but we have a lot of older .pcb  files that we may need to modify. Is there anyway to import these files???

    Hi,

     

    currently I don't know about tools that allow importing Altium or Protel files, besides protel2eagle.zip from the CadSoft Download area that converts a netlist in Protel .NET format to an Eagle script and PCB layout.

    There are also ULPs for exporting Altium or Protel files from EAGLE , but this does ot help here.

     

    Maybe the posting I recently read in the CadSoft newsgroup that might help here. I simply copy it into my message here:
