EAGLE windows look weird.

Hello,

I'm using Eagle 4.16r2 on openSUSE 11.3 & KDE 4.4.4

My problem is, that many windows of Eagle have black parts:

I guess this is an issue between the programming technology used

by Eagle and KDE4.

Is there a solution or patch for Eagle to make it look like it should on KDE4?

(desktop effects are switched of in KDE4)

Before, on KDE 3.5 it worked well, except when compiz or desktop effects was switched on.

Hello,

I am using EAGLE 4.16r2 on openSUSE 11.3 with the same KDE version 4.4.4 and I don't experience problems with it. See attached image.

I am sure that is has to do with your graphics settings. Did you try to switch off the compiz extension? Do you have qtconfig installed? Maybe there are some options you can change.EAGLE 4.1 eacts on them.

I tried Eagle 5.10 and the problem was solved. Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

EAGLE version 5 uses a newer version of the GUI. Glad that it is working now.
