Polygon fill between 0603 pads

Question

Hi everyone,

I am using a build-up technology that requires a minimum track/trace width of 254um (10mil).

I find that after making a polygon fill, I have 190um traces running between the pads of my 0603 components.

This is lower than the limit the manufacturer can accomplish.

Does anyone know how I can restrict the polygon fill so it does not create these thin sections ?

ok, got it.

Set the polygon width to the minimum my manufacturer can accept and also set the isolate to the clearance required.

All is ok now.

Classic example of spending too long infront of the machine !
