generate gerber files with proportional font

Hi Richard I need generate gerber file, but i want the font en the file out to be proportional and no vector thanks ---------- Jaime Bedoya

Hi Jamie,

the CAM Processor can only use vector fonts. Only the vector font can be transferred to a Gerber plotter without loss of information/precision. Proportional and the fixed fonts are matter of the operating system or the processing device and can vary.
In the worst case a slight difference in the size/length of the font can cause a short circuit, for example. So, only vector fonts with the CAM Processor for manufacturing data.
