Can't Edit Eagle Libraries in 6.3.0

Hi,

I'm having a horrible time with Eagle 6.3 for some reason I am not able to save any changes to a Library or create a new Library and save it. Any attempt to do so results in the following message being displayed.

I thought maybe the issue was with creating a new library so I tried to make a new part and save it in an old library of mine that I added into the new version and it give me the same error. I'm quite frustrated any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ivan,

this seems to be problem of user rights. I suppose you are not allowed to write in the lbr folder. Could you please start EAGLE with Administrator rights and try it again?

I have had the same problem. How do I start Eagle with administration rights? I have an iMac with OSX. When I press the right mouse button, I don't see anything about administration.

Hi,

when you do a right click onto the EAGLE icon the context menu shows a "Get info..." entry. Look into the "Sharing and Premissions" section there. Are you allowed to "read and write"?
