Freemium expired, now can't run freeware

Question

I had the freeware version. I wanted to try the freeium version, so I got a license code. My freeium license expired. Now I want to run the freeware version again, but I can't. When the licensing window pops up, the only options are Use License File and Freemium. There is no option to select freeware. How do I get freeware back?

Hi,

please check the eagle/bin folder. Is there a file named freeware.key and a file eagle.key?

If both are existing, delete eagle.key and start EAGLE again. It should now allow starting as Freeware.
