how to insatll eagle  professional in ubuntu ?

hello sir . i m a student of engineering i m using Eagle for last five year on windows .now i switched to linux  (ubuntu). i m using professional version in windows .i did some homework on how to install eagle professional in ubuntu . but i m unable to do it.so i wanted to know how i can install eagle professional version 6.0 or new in ubuntu . any help will be helpful to me. Thamnk u sir.....

    Hello,

     

    please download the package from the CadSoft website and run it. You can install as an admin or your can install it into a personal folder as "normal" user.

     

    If you are working with a 64bit Linux system, you have to make sure that the 32-bit compatibility libraries are installed on your system. As far as I remember this package is named   aes-32**** , but currently I am not sure about this. Please use your package manager to look for it.

     

    It might happen that there is missing libcrypto.so.1.0.0 and   libssl.so.1.0.0. Feel free to take the files from the attached archive. copy it into the /usr/lib folder and run ldconfig to make the files known in the system.

     

    Hope this helps.
