Which of the layers is for writing on the PCB? like if I want it to say pin numbers, name of chip etc
text layers
25 top-of-card component names
26 bottom-of-card component names
27 top-of-card component values
28 top-of-card component values
25 top-of-card silk screen labels
All of these end up on the silk screen. If you want some text in copper use layer 1 for top of card and layer 16 for bottom
