About converter..

Hello Richard image!

 

I have seen EAGLE CAD conveter(nettoz.zip) at Cadsoft homepage's 'Tools and Converts' section in Download.

 

so I wonder about 'nettoz.zip'.

 

Is it Convert from Orcad Schematic to EAGLE Board or It just Export netlist from Orcad Schematic ??

 

What is rignt~ ???

 

And Are there any converter ('Orcad Schematic to EAGLE'  or  'PADS to EAGLE' ) ??

  • Hi,

     

    this tool is pretty old (from 1999) and uses the Orcad netlist for placing components in the EAGLE Layout editor and connecting the pads according to the Orcad netlist.

    In order to have this tool properly working you have to create libraries (packages) in EAGLE that fit to the Orcad libraries..... All in all it's pretty tricky to get proper results.
